Galo Zapata-Ríos

Galo is the science director for the Wildlife Conservation Society's Ecuador Program where he has worked on research and conservation initiatives for more than a decade. His projects include the creation of reserve networks, community-based wildlife management, mitigation of human-wildlife conflict, and wildlife monitoring at the landscape scale. At ARCC, Galo brings expertise in conservation of wildlife and biodiversity and diverse connections in western Amazonia.
