Naia Andrade Hoeneisen

VICE PRESIDENT

Naia Andrade Hoeneisen is an Ecuadorian biologist, photographer, and conservationist. She is passionate about science and society and communicating research through multiple disciplines, especially art. Naia has traveled throughout her country, from the coastal forests, passing through the high Andes's glaciers, into the Amazonian jungle. Naia has experience with research and film-making in the Amazon Rainforest alongside diverse peoples. The urgent need for conservation actions in the Ecuadorian Amazon has inspired her work and leadership as part of ARCC.
